Pre-Academy Fitness Class (PAF 23)

 

BE PHYSICALLY PREPARED WHEN THE ACADEMY STARTS!

 

The Pre-Academy Fitness program is designed to provide a structured, productive, meaningful exercise opportunity for potential cadets. The class will be presented using discipline and uniform protocols consistent with the Academy.

Objectives of the class include improving fitness, exposure to Rio Hondo Police Academy and P.O.S.T. physical fitness and agility standards, and an introduction to paramilitary training.  The class will be held at the Police Academy, Fitness Center and Swimming Pool.

Orientation, Information, and Registration the first night of class,

March 27, 2007 @ 7:00 pm, @ the Rio Hondo Police Academy.

Come dressed in street clothes the first night.

WHEN:      Tuesday/Thursday 1900-2100 (7:00pm to 9:00pm) March 27, 2007 – June 7, 2007

WHERE:     Rio Hondo College Police Academy, Fitness Center and Swimming Pool

STAFF:      Toni Caylor, PAF Coordinator

WHO:       All students interested in preparation for the RHC Basic Police Academy

Costs

$20.00 for class tuition  (Exact change Only/Visa or MC)  1 unit Rio Hondo College PE Credit + cost of PT gear $75.00

Uniforms

Navy Shorts & White Tee Shirt with last name in 2” block letters, Sweat pants & Sweat shirt with last name in 2” block letters.  Contact  Long Beach Uniform: (888) 424-3938 for purchasing information.
