The State
of California Commission on Peace
Officer Standards and Training (POST) suspended the
Rio Hondo
College
Regional
Training Center
from presenting POST courses on October 5, 2010. The
suspension affected the Academy’s presentation of the following
programs: intensive and extended basic formats, PC 832 (Arrest), PC 832
(Firearms), and requalification courses. The
Police Academy,
requalification, and PC 832 programs will resume as soon as possible.

police academy and/or PC 832 course resumes.
Advanced
Officer Training (AOT) courses were not affected by the
suspension. Academic degree and certificate programs remain in place.
We
encourage you to complete the form if you have any questions regarding
any of the programs or courses offered in the Department of Public
Safety.
