The Police Academy would like to extend a training opportunity to your FTO personnel to volunteer in our Basic Academy Scenario Training Program as scenario evaluators.

What are the benefits to your agency and FTO?

·        CPT credit  -  Continuing Professional Training credit – Each day your officers participate as evaluators, they will receive eight (8) hours of CPT credit through POST.

·        Your FTO’s will have an opportunity to interact with academy

training staff  and discuss the latest POST training requirements.

·        Your agency can take advantage of recruitment opportunities from

            pre- service cadets.

·        Cadets have a sense of pride when officers from their future

agency’s arrive at the academy to help them learn important tactics.

If you have FTO's interested in volunteering as scenario evaluators, contact Barbara Keith at (562) 908-3449.
